Solicitation Description:

SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code §2156.063, Solicitation of Bids, Texas Government Code §2165.001, Custodianship of State Property and the Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is seeking bids to provide temporary and vendor-maintained security fencing at the William P. Hobby Building, located at 333 Guadalupe St., Austin, TX 78701.

CONTRACT TERM: TFC is requesting fence to be installed within 30 days of PO issuance. Fence rental shall begin upon date of fence installation and shall continue through August 31, 2024, with the option to renew on a month-to-month basis if additional months are required.

 This contract is contingent upon the continued availability of funding. If funds become unavailable through lack of appropriations, legislative budget cuts, amendment of the Appropriations Act, state agency consolidations, or any other disruption of current appropriations, provisions of the Termination Article in the Services Contract shall apply.

STATEMENT OF WORK: Provide all materials, equipment, labor, coordination, and supervisory activities necessary to perform the following: 

·  Provide and setup 8 ft. tall security fence totaling approximately 960 linear feet of fence. Vendor will be responsible for taking exact measurements.

·    Provide and setup 6 ft. tall windscreen totaling approximately 984 linear feet. Vendor will be responsible for taking exact measurements.

·  Provide and setup two (2) 8 x 12 ft. double drive vehicle gates. See Attachment E – Site Layout for installation locations. Gates shall include typical locking hardware for use with a padlock.

·    The vendor will be responsible for the installation, removal, inspection, and maintenance for the life of the contract.

·         Any damage, repairs, additional security, or equipment and materials will be provided by the vendor for the life of the contract.

·         Fencing will be required to abide by all city licensing.

·     All work shall be performed during regular business hours. Regular business hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

·        Upon completion of the work, area will be cleaned and all debris accumulated will be removed from job site.
