SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use of Competitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission is requesting responses to this Request for Proposal for the provision of moving the tenant agencies from current locations to the Barbara Jordan Building located at 1601 Congress Ave.   TFC reserves the right to make multiple awards for this RFP. 

 

CONTRACT TERM: Respondents shall consider that the move of the tenant agencies will be in stages according to an approved schedule developed with TFC.  As of this RFP, there are three tenant agencies and 1060 FTEs to move from their current locations to Barbara Jordon Building (1601 Congress Ave.).  The majority of these tenants will be coming from the Hobby Building at 333 Guadalupe St. Austin TX, additional location will be from the Texas Department of Insurance and Office of Injured Employee Counsel at Metro Center location at 7551 Metro Center Dr., #100 in Austin Texas.  Additional items will be moved from TDI warehouse at 7915 Cameron Road to Barbara Jordon Building.  Awarded vendor is responsible for moving any items remaining in Metro Center and Hobby Building to State Surplus Property Warehouse at 6506 Bolm Road or disposing at the Vendor’s location or otherwise instructed.  The relocation is expected to be in multiple phases between June 2022 to September 2022.  Packing materials including but not limited to crates, packing materials for IT equipment, labels and tags for crates/items/furniture identification are expected to be delivered in Mid-May 2022.  It is anticipated that the tenant space in the building will be completed with modular furniture installed prior to first delivery of tenant agency moves.

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Pricing for this move to include ten (quantity of 10) - 20” crates, one task chair, and keyboards/monitors for each FTE, labels and tags for crates/items/furniture identification, packing materials for IT equipment, existing office furniture, files and miscellaneous equipment from existing locations to Barbara Jordan Building including, but not limited to the attached lists of items (Attachment F).  1500 crates are expected to be delivered to tenant agencies in Mid-May 2022.  Pricing should include disassemble any modular furniture required for disposal or relocate to State Surplus Warehouse.
