Solicitation Description: PM Solicitation Description: The work generally consists of hauling, barging, and placing of new fill material on the existing Rookery Islands #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5 in Nueces Bay (a shallow bay system), Nueces County, to expand the footprint of these nesting islands. This project will also include removal of existing geotextile tubes currently located along the perimeter of this island and placement of graded rock revetment for shoreline protection to replace the removed geotextile tubes. No dredging activities are permitted for this project. Addendum: Addendum 1 This addendum contains the magnetometer survey performed by Naismith Marine in August of 2018. Elevations are noted along the access routes to each island for the depth of pipe and depth of sea floor where a pipe was found. All values are given in NAVD 88. This is to be used for reference purposes only. Contractor is to perform additional magnetometer survey prior to construction. 4/15/2019
Addendum 2 This addendum raises the mobilization/demobilization limit to not exceed 15% of the bid amount. Please see changes in Part C and the Proposal of the bid document. 5/2/2019
